All KIPP Bridge College Prep students, parents, and teachers sign a Commitment to Excellence form to ensure that there is a clear set of expectations across the school.

Enroll at KBCS
KIPP Bridge Charter School is currently enrolling students. Any student entering the 5th grade in the 2009-2010 school year is eligible to attend. As a public school, KBCS is tuition-free and open to all residents of Oakland. There is no admissions test.
To be enrolled, contact Principal Michele Sutton immediately to set up a family meeting. The Principal or Vice Principal and family will then talk about the commitment necessary for each family and student to make to assure success at KBCS, as our students work very hard. For example, KBCS students attend classes from 7:30 a.m to 5:00 p.m. daily, as well as a Saturday enrichment program and a three-week summer program. At the meeting, parents and students review and sign the Commitment to Excellence form outlining the expectations necessary to attend KBCS.
